CHAPTER SEVEN*

1. Explain what Pony means when he says Soda "reminds me of a colt" on p. 101.
Pony means that Johnny is like a horse or a colt, becuase whenever something excited happenes there the first ones to know or poke there nose in. Johnny likes things with action
2. What condition is Johnny in after the fire?
Johnny is in cridical condition, if he was ever well to get out of the hospital he wouldnt be able to walk again because the wood piece that hit his back. He also got 3rd degree burns.
3. Why would being crippled be worse for Johnny than someone else?
Being crippled would be much worse to Johnny then anyone else because he couldnt go much places anymore, he wouldnt be able to hang with the gang as much: his only family. He would have to stay in the house alot were his parents abuse him which wouldnt be any good for him.
4. "Maybe people are younger when they are asleep" (p.104). what do you think about this comment?
I think its kind of true, because people look more innocent when they sleep while when there awake the way they act can change the "age". People look more babyish when the sleep which could have something to do when poeple say they look younger.
5. What is a juvenile delinquent (p. 107)? Find a definition on the internet, in a dictionary, or create your own based on your own knowledge
Juvenile delinquency may refer to either violent or non-violent crime committed by persons who are (usually) under the age of eighteen and are still considered to be a minor.
.6. Why would Two-Bit think Johnny, Dally, and Pony were heroes all along; before they saved the kids?
I think he would think that they were heroes from the beginning because he could notice from the type of people they are, like how they treat the gang and other people, the fire just showed everybody it physically.
7. What was Bob's 'real' problem, according to Randy (p.116)?
According to Randy Bobs real problem was his parents. They never told him really No , no one ever really layed down the laws. Bob always got what he wanted and never got in trouble for anything bad he did. They thought that Bob was the kind of guy who was smart popular and good looking and he would never do anything bad and if he did "it couldnt of been his fault" the parents would take the blame.
8. Why did Pony think it was better to see socs as "just guys" on p. 118? What do you think he means by this?
I think it was better for Pony to see a Soc as just a guy because he always see's them as rich, popular stuck up people who never care about anybody with no feelings. But talking to him as just a guy Pony realizes that Socs have feelings too, they actually have problems of there own.
